An inline electrolytic scale inhibitor helps reduce limescale by treating your incoming mains water. It's ideal for homes in hard water areas, where calcium and magnesium cause scale to build up inside pipes, boilers and household appliances.

How It Works

The unit contains two different metals, usually copper and zinc. As water flows through the device, a natural electrolytic reaction releases tiny zinc ions into the water.

These zinc ions change the way limescale forms. Instead of creating hard deposits that stick to pipes and heating elements, the minerals form softer particles that stay suspended in the water or are much easier to remove.
